Tuesday Oct 11 2011 comments Run for Courage By: by Anne Stokes -A +A Members of "Team Stop Traffic", Jodie Tollefson of Folsom [middle with sign], Amanda Burstiner of El Dorado Hills, and Rock Love of Sacramento raised the third largest group of runners for the event, with more than 20 racers participating. Runner Talitha Steivers, of Carmichael, refuels after running the 5K race. Volunteers Annie Rivera, Nou Xiong, and Ally Chan of Sac State's Alpha Phi Omega sorority hand out water to racers. The top finishers in each race and age group received medals for their efforts. Mother and daughter Robin and Haley Hoagland of El Dorado Hills together after finishing the 5K race. The Dengler family of El Dorado Hills ran the 5K race together: Luke, age 12, Claire, age 8, Michelle, Matthans, and Jack, age 10 get a commemorative family photo together after finishing the 5K race. David Bryant gets a congratulatory hug from his fellow El Dorado Music Theatre members Kaileen Teter and Andrew Wilson after finishing his race. Scott Din of Folsom and Tracey Dao of El Grove ran together. The Dengler family of El Dorado Hills ran the 5K race together: Michelle, Claire, age 8, and Matthans.
