Tom McClintock Fails Veterans

Sen. Tom McClintock and just one other member of the Senate opposed AB 1666 (Frommer) which releases active duty service members from certain fees including: overdue interest for car leases, utility termination/activation fees, etc, upon deployment overseas. The legislation was supported by the National Guard Association of California.
But Tom McClintock was 1 of only 2 people to vote "No". There’s your fiscal conservative for you. Stick it to our heroes in uniform for overdue fees because they are deployed fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, you keep taking that per diem that you are “entitled to” for a house you don’t own or pay rent on. Nice going, Tom. You're a real patriot.

Tom is a first class jerk. I suppose that he figures since they enlisted they are getting what they deserve. Low pay, high expectations and a kick when they're down.
...and they can't kick back if they have no legs.
Its nice that the same leftists who wanted to leave our troops under-manned in Iraq are not supporting them.
SDButler, has Charlie been to a Veterans for Surrender meeting lately? Still hanging our troops in effigy or has he figured out that was a bad PR move?
Still putting deer hunting season camo coveralls on the sides of rental houses and calling the Republican hired Public Relations Consultant firms to show up for the photo opps ?

And where was Republican John Doolittle ? He couldn't be bothered to show up. He did not vote on it.
He did show up earlier that day, to vote against the House considering HR 6052, to promote increased public transportation use, increased use of alternate fuels, and increased use of alternate fuels in providing public transportation.
Let them drive SUVs.
This is what the Republicans intend to send back to Congress to pillage any natural resources in the district, including the humans willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.
The pathetic two faced "support" of our troops by TM is a disgrace. The man hasn't served! The only thing TM serves is his own interests and political ambitions. He's showing his true colors and I'm disgusted by his cold and un-caring stance on this issue.
