Two suspects are on the run after an armed robbery in Folsom last week.

At around noon on Friday, April 26, two suspects committed an armed robbery of the Ultra Diamond and Gold Outlet, 13000 Folsom Blvd., Folsom, according to Officer Andrew Bates with the Folsom Police Department.

The suspects were armed with a handgun and fired a shot during the robbery, but no one was injured. The suspects were seen fleeing on foot across Iron Point Road, Bates said.
A nearby school was locked down as a precaution while officers searched the area for the suspects. The suspects were not located, Bates said.
The suspects’ faces were covered during the robbery. Both men are described as black male adults, in their late teens to early 20s. One suspect was described as 6 feet 1 inch, 180 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a blue and gray plaid shirt. The other suspect is described as 5 feet 11 inches, 160 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and an unknown color baseball hat.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Detective Timothy Galovich, at (916) 355-7241 or by e-mail at tgalovich@folsom.ca.us.
