Trojans defeat Folsom in four games

Oak Ridge High’s varsity boys’ volleyball team wrapped up the league season by defeating Folsom in four games on Thursday. The Trojans won the first game 25-18 and dropped the second, 23-25, before rebounding to win the next two, 25-15 and 25-23. Jack Hoisington had an amazing 24 kills, while Jonathan Tuttle and Michael Montejano followed with 11 and 10, respectively. Hoisington also did the job in the back row as well, leading the team with 17 digs, while Montejano added 14. Dunham led with 47 assists and also had a pair of aces. Tim Spykerman and Tuttle both had four blocks. Oak Ridge opens the playoffs at Granite Bay on Thursday. Game time is 7 p.m.
