Trojans' commit to colleges

Eight Oak Ridge athletes on Monday signed letters of intent to attend colleges and universities in the fall, as well as continuing their sports careers. Hope Kloczko and Devon Briney, softball players at Oak Ridge, have signed to play at Williamette University and Roanoke College, respectively. Aislynn Mueller and Sara Sipes, members of Oak Ridge’s track and field team, will be attending UC Santa Barbara and New Mexico State, respectively. Kelsey O’Donnell is headed to Sac State to play soccer, while Kristina Williams, a member of Oak Ridge’s section championship basketball team, will play at Lewis & Clark College. Dane Petersen will play golf at Chico State, while Brett Thompson accepted a scholarship to Brigham Young University.
