The El Dorado Hills Trojans under-13 boys’ lacrosse team went undefeated in their four games to win the All West 7-v-7 Turkey Shootout.

After playing teams from around the Bay Area, the Trojans matched up against their local rivals from Granite Bay in the championship game, ultimately prevailing 19-7 to win the tournament.

Sixth and seventh graders, primarily from Rolling Hills and Marina middle schools, made up the team.  “This win is a testament to the quality of lacrosse talent that is coming from our club in El Dorado Hills,” said Roy Malone, head coach of the team. “For the past few years, our club has made an effort to develop a higher level of lacrosse talent. This spring we look forward to playing Trojan lacrosse against some of the best teams in Northern California.”
