Oak Ridge High seniors Hayley Scott and Amjed Aboukhadijeh received All-American honors by placing in the top-20 at Saturday’s National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships held at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park in Reno, NV. Scott placed sixth in the young women division, finishing the 5-kilometer race in 19 minutes, 30 seconds. Competing in the young men division, Aboukhadijeh ran 14th in 16:36. Other competitors from Oak Ridge included Samantha Ralstin, LeeAnn Hold and Maxine Goyette in the Intermediate girls’ division and Jeroen Keukenkamp in the Intermediate boys’ division. Ralstin placed 48th in 20:57, followed by Hold (54th, 21:06) and Goyette (58th, 21:21). Keukenkamp finished his race in 17:46 and ended up in 72nd place.
