Oak Ridge High's freshman football team continued their impressive run with another solid win against Alonzo Stagg of Stockton, 35-0. The Trojans' victory was spearheaded by two early touchdown drives led by quarterback Craig Holloway and stellar offensive line play by Logan Delwiche, Tony Bollinger, Hunter Wheeler, Giuseppe Scalise, Hunter Spriggs and Alex Chisick. The offense also received strong running performances from their stable of backs including Steven Douglas, Andrew Lackowski and Camden Cichetti, Nolan Book and Dalton Santos. From the second quarter on the defense turned up the heat and recorded their first shutout of the year. Great defensive back play from Andrew Lackowski, Tanner Emmanuel and Griffin Prather shut down Stagg's potent passing attack. Oak Ridge was able to confuse Stagg with a mix of run and pass and QB Ryan Sullivan had two touchdown passes, one to Chisick an another to Scott Douglas. Tyson Solis closed out the game for the Trojans at quarterback. The Trojans face Ponderosa on Thursday, as they head to Shingle Springs to take on their biggest rival.
