Oak Ridge High's lacrosse team improved to 3-0 with a 10-8 win over Christian Brothers on Thursday. The Falcons gave Oak Ridge their toughest test of the season to date, as the teams exchanged leads throughout the game. With the scored tied at three at halftime, Oak Ridge scored first in the second half to take the lead, only to see the Falcons score twice to go up 5-4. The Trojans then scored two in a row to make it 6-5. Christian Brothers tied the score at six and then scored again after the two teams exchanged goals and led 8-7 with seven minutes to play. Oak Ridge, however, scored the final three goals of the game. Kaleigh Durket tallied the game-winning goal, while Danielle Trapani added the insurance goal. Durket scored four goals to lead the way, while Trapani added three. Blair Nalewaja, Allie Kirby and Ashley Shaeffer each scored one goal.
