Three Stages is offering many shows to get people in the holiday spirit. Audiences can experience a celebration of Christmas in Ireland complete with music, traditional dance and lively storytelling, in “An Irish Christmas,” making its return to Three Stages. This year’s performances will feature “Riverdance” star Kevin Horton and Magic of the Dance stars Ciaran Maguire and Collette Dunne.

The performance will also feature live music from the Kerry Trad Orchestra.

“An Irish Christmas sold out two shows last year, and it sold so well so early this year that we have added two more shows, for five in all,” said Three Stages Executive Director Dave Pier. “It’s a popularity that’s easy to understand — these folks can bring down the house.”

“An Irish Christmas” will perform in Three Stages at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30 and at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.

Tickets are $25-$39, with premium seats available for $49. Tickets are available at threestages.net.

Meet the dancers

Horton began Irish dancing at the age of 6. As a competitive dancer, he has won many championships across the U.S., including the Midwest Regional Championships, National Championships and has medaled multiple times at the World Championships. He joined the cast of “Riverdance” in 2004.

Principal dancer Maguire joined the cast of “Riverdance” at the age of 16. He then went on to work with former “Riverdance” stars Colin Dunne and Jean Butler in their co-production, “Dancing on Dangerous Ground.” Maguire joined “Magic of the Dance” in 2001.

Dunne started dancing at the age of 3 and has won numerous awards, including the Dublin Championships, the Leinster Championships and the All Ireland Championships.

In her early career, she toured throughout Europe with various shows and later joined the cast of “Magic of the Dance.” She is now principal dancer with the show along with Maguire.
