The identities of three teenagers killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning have yet to be released. According to the California Highway Patrol, four teenagers were in a vehicle on Salmon Falls Road in El Dorado County when they struck a tree. Three died and one was treated and released at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Around 12:40 a.m. Sunday, their vehicle struck a tree on a winding section of Salmon Falls Road near Pond Hill Drive. Authorities believe alcohol was not a factor, but the investigation continues. UPDATE: Nan Pak, a 16-year-old female riding in the left rear seat, was declared deceased at the scene along with the right-rear passenger, not yet identified, who was ejected from the vehicle, according to Sgt. Todd Brown with the California Highway Patrol office in Placerville. The right-front passenger, Ellijah Shaw, 18, of Folsom, was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Brown said. The driver of the car, identified as Mark Barrera, 20, of Rocklin, was treated at the hospital and released, Brown said.
