The Folsom Lake College men’s golf team earned a victory Tuesday in their non-conference match at Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin, easily defeating their two closest rivals in the Big 8 Conference.

The Falcons were again led by sophomore Joel Slak, who recorded his third sub-70 round of the season with a 68. Freshman Dylan Neal also played well for the Falcons, as he shot a 1-under par round of 70.  Coach Barry Zarecky was pleased with the outcome, stating, “It looks like we’re moving in the right direction. Considering the extremely windy conditions, the boys played very well.”
