Reaghan Emrick and the Oak Ridge High freshman-sophomore boys’ 4x100 and distance medley relay teams came home from the LeFebvre Relays on Saturday with gold medals. Emrick, a freshman, won the varsity girls 3,200-meter run in 11 minutes, 53.97 seconds. The 4x100-meter relay team of Alton Toh, Matt Monet, Donald Grady and Bryce Williams placed first, as did the distance medley team of Zach Thornton, Evan Baxter, Jake Zeltner and Dusty Armstrong with a time of 11:34.71. The freshman-sophomore boys’ 4x800-meter relay team took second with a time of 9:30.16. Dusty Armstrong, Jake Zeltner, Ryan Prestegard and Zach Thornton made up the team. Prestegard also earned a bronze medal in the freshman-sophomore 3,200 meters in 10:39.86. The varsity girls shuttle hurdles team of Shannon Trumbull, Lindsay Lee, Maddie Miller and Ashlyn Duran took fourth in 46.32. Finally, the freshman-sophomore sprint medley team of Toh, Grady, Williams and Monet placed fifth with a time of 1:51.07. Twenty-two Trojans will participate in the Stanford Track and Field Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
