-A +A
Officials are searching for an “at-risk” Georgetown family that has been missing since last week. The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s helping in locating Sarah Jean Smith, 28, her 7-year-old son, Joshua Todd Bargus, her 15-month-old daughter, Kylie Jean Just, and her 40-year-old boyfriend Jason James McClellan. The individuals were last seen Oct. 20 driving to Georgetown Elementary School to pick up Joshua. The foursome did not return home after picking up Joshua and have not been seen or heard from since. A relative reported the missing family Oct. 23 and indicated they had no plans of a trip or to leave the area. All clothing and personal items were left at the home. Sheriff’s officials do not suspect foul play at this time. The missing individuals do have ties to the area of Brentwood and authorities there have been in contact and are assisting in the investigation. Smith is described as a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with long curly brown hair and brown eyes. Joshua is a 4-foot tall white male who weighs 70 pounds and has short brown hair and brown eyes. Kylie is a 2-foot-6-inch tall, 25-pound white female with curly blonde hair and hazel eyes. McClellan is a 5-foot-8-inch, 180-pound white male with brown hair and blue eyes. The family was last seen driving a 2004 silver Honda Civic with no license plates. Anyone with information regarding these missing individuals is asked to contact the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (530) 621-6600 or Investigations at (530) 642-4709. ~ Staff report
