Chamber donates to Hands4Hope

-A +A
The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce announced at their business luncheon on Aug. 4, 2010, that their Board of Directors had chosen “Hands4Hope — Youth Making A Difference” as their Charity Golf Tournament beneficiary. Chamber Chairman John Zezini presented Hands4Hope Executive Director Jennifer Bassett with a check for $750 at the luncheon. The charitable organization is an El Dorado Hills based non-profit group whose mission is “grow the next generation of socially responsible citizens by engaging youth in community outreach.” The organization was started in March 2008 and has grown from 15 youth members to more than 260 members ranging in age from 5 through 18. Bassett thanked the chamber for choosing her organization and said the donation would be put to good use. The donation from the chamber will be used to continue and grow youth-driven outreach programs, according to Bassett.
