FOLSOM, CA - Enjoy a day at the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary with classic cars and music at the Cappuccino Cruisers family fun day fundraiser event.

The Family Fun Day is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, at the Zoo and Folsom City Park, at 403 Stafford St., Folsom.

The first 500 attendees will receive a wristband good for a Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary entry on Sunday, May 26 only. There is a limit of three passes per family or group.

“Through the help of event sponsors, we are buying the 500 zoo tickets, to give away to the families,” said Ray Marchese, founder volunteer for cappuccino cruisers. “We are providing a $2,000 donation to the zoo and boosting the Sunday attendance.”

The event will include a small car show including 30 classic cars, more than 20 vendors, informative and service booths including the Folsom Mounted Patrol, the Folsom K-9 units, Blood Source, Pony Tails the Face Painter. There will also be music for dancing.

“This is a good family oriented event that we put together five years ago that enables families with children to get out and do something with little or no expense,” Marchese said.

In the case of rain, the date is slotted for Sunday, June 2. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

To sign up to display a car, reserve a vendor space or for general information call Ray or Chris at (916) 988-6376.
