Behind four goals from Cassie Aroyan, including the game winner, as well as a strong defensive effort, Oak Ridge High’s varsity girls’ lacrosse team improved to 15-3 with a 10-7 win over Dublin on Saturday. Aroyan’s game-winning goal with 8:42 to play gave the Lady Trojans an 8-6 lead. Kristina Reyes added an insurance goal, one of her two goals on the day, and Heather Tegley, Jennifer Tegley and Blair Nalewaja led the defense that held Dublin to seven goals, only one, however, coming in the game’s final 10 minutes. Keeper Julia Holton made 17 saves in net for the Lady Trojans. Aside from Aroyan’s four goals and Reyes’ pair, Danielle Trapani scored twice and Leanne Aroyan and Shaylin Rasmussen also found the back of the net for Oak Ridge.
